Useful tips for MacOS X and iOS: enable Greek spelling and image attachments in Mail.app, sync notes on iPhone with Exchange
Unfortunately, Outlook 2011 is still immature not only in handling Unicode characters but also in incorporating spelling. In addition, cocoAspell cannot be used it is not a cocoa application. However, users that prefer using Outlook 2011 over the standard Mail.app can download the necessary proofing tools in order to add Greek spelling on Word 2011 (having to copy-paste between the applications).
In order to disable or re-enable inline image attachments on the Mail.app, you have to enter the following, respectively, through the Terminal to set the preference:
– defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool yes
– defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool false
Finally, regarding the minor issue on iPhone about the lack of the ability to sync notes in Exchange, a solution already exists by using the iMExchange 2 application (currently in version 1.0.3), which can be found in the App Store for both iPhone and iPad.
