Today, while I was trying to add a new content page to a web application, using Microsoft Visual Studio, after choosing the “New Item” option and checking the option “Select master page”, by clicking the “Add” button, I received the following error:
Could not find a part of the path ‘C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
I fixed the problem by restoring the default project templated as mentioned here.
While trying to check my website’s RSS feed, I received the following error:Server Error in ‘/blog’ Application.
Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: utcDate
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: utcDateThis error can also occur from any RSS related link that points to syndication.axd. This is probably due to the fact the deployment was made on a server with assemblies compiled on a machine that had the clock time bigger than the server’s. One solution is to try to recompile the application on a machine that has the time smaller than the deployment server time.
